The Story of THING-A-MA-SLING

When my daughter was born in 2003, she was too small to fit into a front carrier at first, so she started out in a sling.  She  loved it, but the sling that I was using was bulky and dug into my shoulders.

When she was bigger, we switched to a front carrier.  I loved it--but only until she was about 12 pounds--at which time she was supporting herself and squirming around!  It not only became difficult to see around her, but since it could only be worn in one position, my back quickly became very sore.

I started to look around for a baby sling, but couldn't find any that I liked for a reasonable price.  I researched how to make a baby sling, and began making my own.  After I began carrying her in the slings that I'd made, I kept getting compliments on them and requests for me to sell them.  It's turned into something that I really enjoy doing! 

Even though our daughter is now two years old, we still use our THING-A-MA-SLING nearly every day!  In fact, I keep at least one in the house and one in the car so I'm never without one!
