This position can be used once your baby
has some head control and can hold his/her head up easily (usually
around 3 mos.). For this position, your sling will be just like the
cradle carry with the inner wall of fabric against your body. Face
your baby away from you and cross his/her legs "Buddha style." Hold
feet/legs in position and place baby in the pocket of the sling with
their back against your chest. While holding baby securely, tighten
the inner and outer walls of fabric by pulling on the tail. Baby's
arms can be in our out depending on your (or his/her) preference. You
can also cross baby's legs the same way and place him/her inside the
pouch facing you or facing to the side.
